Lagos, Nigeria

Abuja

Over 500 different languages and 250 different ethnic groups

Lagos(Lekki conservation centre, bar beach, elegushi etc), Abuja (Zuma Rock, etc) and Calabar (esp over Christmas during the carnival) There are loads of touristy places tbh. Can't remember all.

Jollof rice is a national treasure. We don't joke with our jollof. Fried plantains, fufu, etc

The food, the culture, the way we dress, afrobeats, how optimistic and friendly and funny and savage everyone is, our history, our potential, our love for parties and having a nice time.

I love Britain's history, the fact that we're the most innovative country ever and that our language is the best.

What if I told you
I hate my country

Where you come from (Country and city) - I am from a town called Ayr (pronounced like 'air') in Scotland :h:

What the capital city is called - Edinburgh (pronounced like Edin-bra) though many tourists say Edin-boro :teehee:

Language/s that you speak - English and Scots (English but with Scottish slang pretty much lol) Gaelic is also spoken in Scotland but mainly in the highlands and islands. I can only say hello in Gaelic :colondollar:

Top places that you recommend other members to visit - Glasgow, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Arran

Top foods - Irn Bru  , beef olives, Tunnock's caramel logs and wavers, Killie pie

Things that you love about your country - the people, our culture, our music, our scenery, our accents :colondollar:

(optional) share pictures so that other members can see how beautiful your country is!
