OCR FP1 June 2009 Question 7 Help

I'm stuck on part iii of OCR FP1 June 2009 question 7. I have absolutely no idea how to relate the previous 2 parts of the question to this one, without just taking it from the formula book and scoring no marks. Can someone please explain this question to me? Thanks.

Re-arrange the result in part(ii):

4r3=((r+1)4r4)6r24r1\displaystyle 4r^3 = ((r+1)^4 - r^4) - 6r^2- 4r - 1 and then sum that.

You know the first sum from part(i) and the other three you can quote and then simplify them all.

That was surprisingly easier than I thought! Thank you.

What are you having trouble with?

How do you go from
(N+1)^4-1 -n (n+1)(n+2) -2n(n+1) -n
To
N^2 (n+1)^2
And thanks
