Student Finance England / SAAS student loan
Can I apply to both SAAS and SFE and then claim just one? It's because I'm not sure whether my SAAS application will be successful, so I need some back up plan and SFE application deadline is very soon.

You can apply for both but cannot claim funding from both.
When you're sure which you will use you need to cancel your application with the other
