show that (tan x cos^2 x) / (sin x cos x) = 1

So simplify the numerator in terms of sine and cosine first...
tanx = sinx/cosx
therefore the numerator becomes sinx*cos^2 x
and the denominator becomes sinx*cos^2 x as well

cancel the denominator and the numerator and boom, you get one :biggrin:
