Insurance choice

If you get rejected by your firm choice do you have to take up your insurance choice or can you reject it.

It depends what you want to do. If you want to reject your insurance choice and not go to uni in 2017, that's easily done. You just tell them that you're not going (and remember to cancel your student finance).
If you want to go to a different uni, you can ask your insurance uni to release you. This does take a while, though, so all the good Clearing places might be gone.

But if you know already that you don't want your insurance, you can sort it now. This would leave you going straight into Clearing if you don't get your firm, so you can find another place straight away. It's a much better option.
