Edexcel GCSE maths old specification 2017

I'm going to be doing the old specification edexcel
Maths GCSE this year, what do you think the grade boundaries will be like?

Same here !! I hope they will be lower but I have a feeling it will be high because they won't want us to pass on the old spec 😂

Here's what i'm going for:

D - 35
C - 68
B - 105
A - 141
A* - 170

I think they will be fairly low as they want to get rid of us

it's so hard to concentrate on maths when you have A-level exams breathing down your neck lol :biggrin: if anyone has some revision tips, it would be very helpful. Thanks xD

I'm also doing this exam. Good luck everyone for Thursday. I'm guessing that it will just be higher grade boundaries again as they seem to go up every year.

I'm thinking higher boundaries but I've also heard alot of people say it will be lower as they wanna get rid lol

As most of us are aiming for Cs the grade boundaries will be low, if we all got As/A*s they will be very high (i think thats how it works)

i just hope that at least it will be 142 for a pass which means 71 marks per paper
