You only vaguely acceptable Quorn product is the mince which, if you cook it through in a sauce very slowly, takes up the flavour well.

I understand. Alas, your only option is top find some way to mediate your feelings and move on with your day. It may help you to feel useful; perhaps search TSR for unanswered threads and see if you can help someone. When I feel hopeless, it helps me to help someone with their CV or their dissertation or something. Manufactured purposes makes for reasonable ad-hoc therapy.
