Depends on the markscheme and the focus of the prompt but the answer is most likely yes if the prompt is a general commentary... it wiuld be better if you mention everything you can about a piece of prose/poetry.

yes, the way in which they mark it is split into 3 main ways.
One is quotes and using the language to make interpretations and own ideas. (12 Marks)
Then there is structure, language and form and commenting on them. (12 Marks)
And the last point is context realting your views and the poem/book your talking about to the context( 6 marks)
