positive 30 something kJ/mol

I use 0.0952 mol

yeah i got the same answer
did you use the mol value for the excess or the limiting?

yeah okay i just saw your reply
thanks

what did you find the enthalpy change per mol?

i divided 3.01........(kJ)by 8/84(limiting reactant moles)

what did you fill the table for the Born-Haber cycle?
and what was the species that give the 28 mass to charge ratio?
I filled the table with around 7000

And the 28 m/e was Iron Fe²+

i dont remember exactly but i put the atomisations, electron affinity and enthalpy of formation.

i didnt know the species. i left it blank because it was only i mark. what did you put?
guys what did u put for how the pi bond is formed and y it can undergo addition reactions, first part i wrote pi bonds form due to the overlap of p orbitals

i put it Fe2+
i am not sure though
it is just a one mark anyways.

what did you write for the question asking about the pi bond?
and in the MCQ, what was the answer for the second monomer? i chose propene.

i wrote the same as you for the first part.
i wrote for the second part that it is an electron dense area and it makes the molecule weaker so it breaks up to allow the joining of the halogens.

Fe2+ is correct i think
For the pi bond: i put about it being above and below plus the overlap of two p orbitals
For the MCQ i put Proprene too:smile:

i said it attracts electrophiles which can be halogens

i said it attracts electrophiles which can be halogens

I also wrote how pi bond repels electrons in halogens, inducing temporary dipoles which can then be electrophiles

what did you get the ppm value?
you convert it to mg right?
and what did you get the simplest empirical formula? the one about the oxide and you subtract to get the mass?

the question was for two marks right?

PPM value i got 2.7
Simplest empirical formula was so confusing but i put Cr2O3

i got it as 2.7x10^3 did you convert the unites?

There was a table for ionisation energy for magnesium, 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th were given, we had to calculate the possible value for the 3rd one.
