Remains: I said that Bayonet Charge was a representation of the harrowing physical effects of war on a soldier whereas Remains is about the psychological effect of war.

Physical pain/death, loss of hope/patriotism and isolation/unification. One on the left of / is batyonet charge, one on the right is charge of light brigade

i wrote about all those things as well but i didn't really directly link them to effects of war cos i didn't read that bit of the question. hope my points and analysis were good enough for it to still be a level 8 cos linking answer to the actual question is only one bullet point on the mark scheme
