Hope these are right because I need at least a C. Anyone get anything different from their teachers or are they all roughly the same?

these were made from the old spec. It should be lower but we can't trust them. It would be around this:

71/70 9
64 8
58 7

Wat exam board r u?

I'm doing Edexcel
71 for a 9? Isn't that a bit too low?

not really considering the papers are harder and a much greater proportion targetted at 8 and 7 have been pulled down.

Grade 7 probs 55%
Grade 8 65%
I'm with OCR so our boundaries tend to be lower than Edexcel on the old spec by 5%

Think about it this way
I do old spec paper and get >88%
I do new spec and get 70% + or - 5%

these are some grade boundaries which i made a few days ago, looking at the old spec and some of my friend's results:

70/71 9
64 8
58 7
48 6
40 5
24 4

Lower is 1 or fail (idk what that is)

According to everyone on here, the grade boundaries have to be extremely low in order for them to increase them over the years and also for the fact that we hardly have any resources to go by. I'm hoping that is true but I don't want to get too hopeful in case they decide to keep the grade boundaries similar to last year.

I know that a lot of people in my year found the higher paper really hard but the grade boundaries are set on a national scale which is worrying

it's better to be set in a national scale. You don't realise this but on TSR most of the kids are high achieving or grammar schools, so the grade boundaries set here are high
My predictions for overall grade boundaries:
9-210
8-180
7-150
6-120
5-100
4-80

Boundaries for TSR people only
9 = 95%
8= 86%
7=78%
6=70%

what mark u at?
TSR is not a accurate representation of how the country did as a whole as I saw that alot of people on here were getting higher than 60 on each paper. Most people at my school did found the papers easy, however, I don't think they would be too high because they need to make sure the system works :h:
