Why do socialists love Keynes?

He was a liberal, a centrist, and not at all a revolutionary. He was in favour of capitalism with, really, few interventions. Indeed, he trashed Marx's Capital and Marxism in general, was sympathetic to Hayek's Road to Serfdom and a life-long member of the Liberal party, etc, etc.

Why the love?
Woops, slightly innebriated posting. :colondollar: Sorry FNE

True Socialists don’t - any who do are fake, liberal, cucky “Socialists"
We are divided and conquered by these fake labels, but no-one will ever wake up to it before its too late.
He was a Christian, and I like that, but he was more “democratic socialist” than anything.

A true Socialist is a Communist - socialists believe in democratic ownership of the means of production, as do Communists. Say A was Capitalism, and B was Communism, then the train from A to B would be Socialism.
