Range in function

Hi
Need help
State range of function
n (x)=x^2+5 for domain x>_(less than or equal to )2

I have drawn graph
4+5=9
So I think that range is between 5 and 9
n (x) is greater than 5 and less than or equal to 9

But it's answer is n ( x ) greater or equal to 9

Can some one explain me

That's because you are, for some reason, thinking of x2x \leq 2 when the question clearly states (and you've even use the symbol for it) that x2x \geq 2

OK
You are right
But I'm still confused about it
As I'm thinking
Starting point of graph is 5 and ending point is 9 so how ito can be greater than 9

Can you please explain me20170715_184458.jpg

Why do you think it ends at 9?

OK got it😆
( I am trying to relate with other question but that was different from this
I undersood now as at 2 y value is 9 and at 3 y will be 12 so it is increasing after 9
That's why range is greater than 9

Thanks by the way
