I've had friends that have bought drugs on it with no real problems. They're usually disguised in everyday pharmaceutical consumerables like ibuprofen or contraception.

I was told a story from another friend that a guy he knew was on the deep web, left his computer on and went to the shops. Came back to his computer and on the web page was a picture of him at the shops he was at moments ago. I don't know if that story is true though :colonhash:

LOL looks like i'll have to pass up on having a quick stroll deep into the web ))))))
okkkk but I'm so curious now that ik it's real

If you must then go on reddit.com/r/tor
the so called Dark Web is just sites which are not accessible to search engines like Gogirl. your private messages folder on TSR is part of the Dark Web.

Yes. There are few layers to the web, the Surface web and the Deep web.

A part of the deep web is called Dark Net/Dark web, this is the Dark side of the internet and what happens there is pretty nasty! They can only be accessed with certain browsers such as TOR. One of the most notable Operating systems is Tails which is a linux distro, created by the developers of TOR.

TOR uses onion routing(long story short, your data goes through three nodes, the Guard Node, Relay Node and the Exit Node) to conceal the user/server location so that they can stay anonymous.

The good news is, most of the Dark Net is Scam, what you hear/see on YouTube videos are fake. Because the real websites are truly hidden and they can be only visited by private invitation. Some of them are FBI Honeypots which are designed to full criminals into giving their location away, so that FBI can arrest them.

Stay safe and don't visit the deep web without having the expertise in the area. It can be a dark place

It does exist
there was 'silk road' that was shut down by the FBI 4 years ago and there must be so many more marketplaces on the 'dark web' that they can't find/trace

They just keep making new versions each time it gets shut down.

Its filled with child porn, hitman for hire and drug sites

"Filled with" isn't the way I'd put it. It's there, but it's not what it's primarily used for.

It's real; created by the CIA so that they could have an untraceable/anonymous form of communication, but in order to make it truly anonymous they had to make it public.

I heard this a while back on some youtube video. Same for you or?
