How is Nottingham for mechanical engineering?

Any thoughts? Is it a top 10?
why don't you check yourself, on the unistats website

There are many different league tables, all of which use slightly, or significant, different criteria.

Eg
https://www.thecompleteuniversityguide.co.uk/league-tables/rankings?s=Mechanical%20Engineering

https://www.theguardian.com/education/ng-interactive/2017/may/16/university-guide-2018-league-table-for-mechanical-engineering

But I wouldn't use league tables as a primary method of picking a university.

Look at the course, and see if you want to be studying that course at that university for 4+ years.

Wut? "Reputation" is such a nebulous and frankly irrelevant metric.

They got a Gold in TEF.

They are among the top 10 in the High Fliers report for employers.

If you like Nottingham (and, more importantly, their course) go there.

Thank you, I also have an offer from Leeds similar course and I like both cities, which one would you go with in this case?

I'm not particularly familiar with either city, but even if I was what suits me might not suit you. You have to make the decision

Toss a coin. Heads is Nottingham, tails is Leeds. If you feel regret (or not) when it comes up X then you know...

Dude, you've already had my *very* honest opinion of the question.

If *you* are more impressed by Leeds, go there.

Neither choice is a bad university.
