Would it be weird for a woman in her 40's and single, no kids, to regularly go travelling alone? Say she was in a sports club and kept herself fit etc. She was very open to a relationship but was also fine being single. Are all women who are not family orientated seen as odd?

well i suppose it is independance but some people, usually men, play hell for leather and dont like it when women label themselves independant (call them cat women etc) so thats why I didnt use the word independant.

I didnt mean she was a f***woman, say she didnt bother with all that one night stand stuff people go on about
