(5) ...your currency is oh-so-strong and makes imports, on which your economy is dependent, oh-so-cheap
(6) ...you're such champs at exporting, making great use of that weak currency

How deluded can you be? You've not only killed a period of good growth but you have destroyed the basis for future success, i.e. forcing your only internationally relevant industry, financial services, and its top performers, foreigners, out.

You've just made an account here so I assume you're between 16 and 20. Until Britain is fully untangled from the EU and has new trade agreements in place, you'll be pushing 30. You'll study/are studying at unis that lack qualified staff and international students, graduate into a heavily damaged economy and a slow job market plagued by uncertainty over the future, and earn considerably less than your peers in flourishing states on the continent. And suddenly this debate is a lot more than banter on the internet, it negatively affects your life very tangibly. I can buy that iPhone 8/9/10 when it comes out, you can't. And you know this is coming, no matter all that nationalistic 'the empire on which the sun never sets' chest-banging - there is not a single piece of evidence you will return to the growth rates you had before the referendum. You shouldn't take this so lightly and throw out stupid, unqualified comments like you did.

No other countries want out. They all see how Britain is going down the drain.
