Any good private flat buildings near the campus? Looking to live alone

The "student ghetto" in the streets off Laistridge Lane [opposite the university] has loads of accommodation for rent. The university is teamed up with Unipol to help with househunting.
Hi there

I'm so sorry we didn't get back to you about this, are you still looking for this information about placements? If you want to send me a private message I will get this information for you asap!

I am still deciding between Bradford - MSc Cancer Drug Discovery, and, Leeds - MSc Infection, Immunity and Human Disease. Can not make up my mind!

About Lennon House - stayed there this year, just moved out.. It was not a perfect stay, but I guess it is better than some other student accommodations around University campus, I would not know what else to recommend... I suggest you check out Kexgill Tower aswell if you yet have not.

First, they took a long time to come and fix any problems, for example, fixing plumbing or toilet seat in the bathroom.
Then, we once had a mouse in the building and I heard it ran to some rooms too, but they said they caught it and it came from outside because they held the doors open on ground floor in October (they were still doing construction work inside and outside at that time).
Also, it really is still very basic and have just elementary facilities, and the building is not ready, because 2016 september was the first year they opened it for students. They still have only one washmaschine for the whole building downstairs. The gym is an absolute joke, so is the "study room". The only thing is, if you like your room and you don't plan to use anything else and don't care about anything else in the building, and just walk through the building when coming and going, it's fine. Btw, I loved my room, it was nice and modern, everything was new and the bed was just amazing with a brand new mattress! I had big windows in three sides of my room and an awesome view! BUT, that also meant I had to pay more for electricity in winter (because of the windows) and they asked for additional payments! Because there was a stupid electricity system. Other than that if you don't care about that and are willing to pay more, like £100 for december and january for example, it's fine I guess.
Hello

If you need any information from us to help you make your decision then please just let us know

Just a curious question,

I am most likely going to be going to Bradford College (Due to most Higher Education art courses being in Bradford School of Art (Lister Building - Bradford College), not in the University)
("Most likely" as I am unsure how clearing for a University course will go)

As a Higher Education student in possibly Bradford College ("University Centre"), would it still be possible to use the student facilities like the student shop and bookshop etc?
Or is this strictly restricted to only Higher Edu University students?

Hi, I'd suggest you contact Unipol who can give information on Private Landlord properties. They can be reached on 01274 235899. Best of luck and if you need anything else do let us know.
Does the university have a football team I will be joining this September
You will find that you need a University of Bradford ID to gain access to some of our buildings where these services are. We do have a Blackwells bookshop which specialises in books that match the courses we offer (we don't offer art) and some food outlets near our main reception. The Library is not open to Bradford College students unless they have special permission from the College.

YES!

What do you want: football (men's & women's) or American football? Whatever, we welcome people of all abilities; whether you wish to just come to training sessions or compete for a position in one of the squads that play on Wednesday, join in watching national and international football during the week, or just want to experience the university lifestyle as a social member.

And, of course, we have the much beloved Bradford City football team nearby, which offers affordable match tickets to our students.

Uk football.
I have a bit of an issue with my college here in. My teacher gave me a letter head stating my grade of D* D D (BTEC Extended diploma) I have been phoning him constantly this past week as students have been complaining that there grades have been in correctly been claimed so he is re claiming everyone's and hasn't sent anyone off he said he will get it sent if soon. Should I be worried as I haven't done anything wrong but the college is delaying proceedings. My offer is unconditional.

Okay! Suspected much but wanted to be sure. Doesn't matter much now anyway, I recently got an offer for Bradford University through UCAS Clearing

Thanks for the reply!
Are you hoping to study at the University of Bradford in September? What does your UCAS Track tell you? Have you had your place confirmed?

Yes, Ucas track is unconditional cause I had to send in a official letter head of my results my self that was signed by my tutor. But he is delaying proceedings by not actually claiming and sending them off. He might of done them now, but I am not aware yet.
Yip. UK football AND Amercian football :excited: If you want to play a different type, like Aussie Rules, you could always ask the Union for help setting up a new club!
