Hey guys. I'm currently in East Slope, but am looking for an ensuite accommodation, preferably Northfield or Swanborough. East Slope is 2500 pounds for 39 weeks, so if anyones looking for a more reasonably priced accommodation and is willing to exchange, then hit me up. :smile:

The official swap list for changing your university room opens on the 19th September, so a week after freshers has started.
But if you find someone and you both agree to swap, the university will let you swap with each other.
Right now I have a Northfield room but would like to swap for another Northfield room or Swanborough

I'm not sure that's 100% right tbh. Even though I have someone to swap with and we're both happy with it, housing office said we cannot move until after the swap list comes out on the 19th. Which I think is ridiculous for Sussex to do! That is when everyone starts their lectures and who will have time to move then? Why can't they open it on fresher's week?

Apparently they make consessions for no one, they told me today on the phone and no one can swap until after the 19th. Which a pain!

Anyone agree with me that this is stupid??

Def not the right place to write this as I have no accom to offer to swap.... BUT, I'm struggling finding accommodation... i'm doing an MSc but don't want to be living miles away from normality and fun as I still want to go out and socialise....any ideas?!

Hello! I've got a room at Kings Road (along the Brighton seafront, right next to Churchill Square Shopping Centre) and would like to swap for any on campus accommodation. It's an off-campus flat with 6 rooms and 2 washrooms. Is anyone interested?

hey, i was still looking for private accommodation at the time and unfortunately I have switched unis but if you are still interested in private accommodation ,the following link is what i was looking at to get .It's a 7 bedroom house and the flatmates are students of Uni of Sussex and Uni of Brighton (18-20).Wish you the best of luck with everything and hope ya get through.
