UKCAT 2018 entry scores

Hey guys! Just thought I'd make a thread where we can all share our UKCAT results from this year so far, just to get an idea of how we are doing in comparison to average?
(edited 6 years ago)
I got an average of 717.5 and Band 2 SJT.

I'm really happy with my score but I can't decide whether it's good enough to apply to really UKCAT heavy universities like Newcastle?

Wow that's such a good score! Congratss! And yeh I think Newcastle do have a very high UKCAT score requirement, but I've heard it's normally above 710 so you should be good :smile:
Averaged 637.5 Band 1. Quite unhappy with it, however got to keep going & hopefully can still secure a few interviews.
675 average Band 2.

I'm hoping that this forum is generally more able and that my score isn't just mediocre.

Average 670, band 2

I messed up on VR and AR (590 and 570 respectively) but got 850 in QR and 670 in DM which boosted my average
Is anyone thinking of taking a gap year and then applying to Med in 2019? Cuz I think my UKCAT is prettyy low ??

The 2017 mean average score (up to 8th September) is 2598.

My average score is 2800.
I am on docile 8
I am also on Band 2 of situational judgement

Verbal Reasoning 570
Decision Making 680
Quantitative Reasoning 750
Abstract Reasoning 800
Situational Judgement Test Band 2

Is my score a bad score? where should I consider applying? especially Scotiish universities?

thats amazing! you are in the top 20% of the country, well done! you can apply pretty much anywhere with a result like that
VR = 630 (I panicked as it's the first section - I know I could've done better)
DM = 720
QR = 790
AR = 670
Overall = 2810
Average = 703
SJT = Band 2

Are these looking good in comparison to everyone else who took the test this year?
VR: 630
DM: 730
QR: 800
AR: 850
SJ: Band 1

(Total: 3010, Average: 752.5)
