because one of my parents is a 'high earner' and therefore it is assumed that these people share their money with their families, but stuff like that is never that straightforward


Ahh same for me. "High earners" yet most goes toward the mortgage lol. It's a really flawed system but then again they can't vet each person one by one :frown: Sorry to hear about how it is, deserve better
