Freshers 2017 Not in halls

Hey! So i'm starting @ Cardiff Uni studying Journalism & Media very soon.
BUT. I'm not living in halls as i've got my own flat.
Is anyone else in the same situation and still wanna go out for freshers?
I've spoken to a pal 2 years above me and said everyone in the same boat created a group chat so nobody had to head out solo!
Any ideas?
