The cabinet is probably still a bit to the right of me economically and I'm a bit uncertain about Healey as Chancellor but it's a struggle finding left wing MPs of any stature who are sound on foreign and defence policy. There's no way I could keep someone like McDonnell in place (despite agreeing with him economically) because of issues like his IRA connections.

John cryer may be a good choice for you ...

I don't rate many in the current Labour party but i do think that Miliband, Kinnock and Starmer are by far your best potential ministers.

Yeah me too, although same goes for the conservatives. Not seeing much hope in any of them... less seats means less choice but those 3 would definitely be my top pick, Chuka Umunna would need government experience first but I think he’d make a fine Home sec, and Kinnock would make a brilliant foreign secretary. It’s quite sad to see such lack of talent on both sides of the house

Ed Miliband is useless, although I do rate Kinnock and Umunna.

Yvette Cooper is awful and is like a horrid love child of Gordon brown and Harriet Harmon with policies to match.,

Don't know why you rate Crabb so much other than he's working class (which is probably nullified by him trying to cheat on his wife with an intern...)

As leader yes, but he played amazing roles in the treasury and in the background during the New Labour days, both in government and in opposition.

I’m not really fans of them so I won’t bother but I think they’re good workers and would do a good job.

While i understand you supporting Corbyn's politics as a leftie, i'm curious why he'd be your dream leader. Even putting aside his views, he's simply not that competent.

Tbf he's confounded a lot of his critics: he's shown a good deal of grit. If I didn't find many of his views highly troubling I'd admire him.

The more confusing choice is Dianne abbot anywhere near the treasury or anything involving maths
