Dont even need to do that. angle x is just the two exterior angles added together.

255 deg is the two interior angles added together. Exterior angles are the angles that each side turns from the the side before it.

thats why i said it aint right... - I mean it is sort of right just said incorrectly.
they said exterior not interior...
(im trying to avoid cards here...)
that x angle is an exterior angle to the shapes, and you have interiors...

I don't understand what you just said. You just work out the exterior of each shape and add them up.
Finally a question easy enough that I can answer. I took maths and physics at Alevel but forgotten it all lol.

Theres a bunch of different ways to work out it. This is the easiest I can see.

inner angle of hexagon:

720 / 6 = 120

inner angle octagon:

1080 / 8 = 135


angle of x:

360 - (135 + 120) = 105

x = 105


In case you don't understand. all the angles around a point add up to 360. So you take off the other 2 angles from 360.

Working out the inner angles from regular shapes is easy you can just google it.

You do 360÷6 because the hexagon adds upto 360 and it has 6 sides
360÷6=60

You do 360÷8 because an octagon adds upto 360 and it has 8 sides
360÷8=45

60+45=105
X=105

yes do that but then do 360 degrees minus your 255 degrees which equals 105 degrees which is equal to x. This was one of the questions on my maths homework and I got it right. so yeah... your welcome g
