It will say on the entrance requirements.
You must read them.

Its definitely advantageous and it will ad to your application especially if its postgrad. undergrad they are more forgiving, but you will be competing against people who have obtained some ro have several years working. I would get some, care homeetc.

You must have some experience of delivering care in a professional or voluntary capacity and a reference from a current or recent employer or educational institution.
Normally five GCSE passes at grade C or grade 4 or above, including mathematics, English language or literature and a science subject or equivalent*, plus one of the following
• 128 UCAS points from three A levels (including at least 40 points in either Biology, Human Biology or Physical Education) or BTEC National Diploma in Sport and Exercise Science. We do not accept AS levels. We do not accept General Studies.
