What if they keep gambling and gambling till they do something they regret like braki g the laptop or stealing money etc


What exactly can you do to stop them from doing that bar knocking them out for months on end? If somebody close to me had this issue I'd definitely be there for them, but if they don't help themselves there's not anything bystanders can do except be there. So they will hit rock bottom on their own, you cannot physically stop them from gambling without committing multiple felonies.

Sometimes people have to learn the hard way. I'd honestly not help if i tell the guy about - the prince of saudi arabia losing his money and his wives. - and this guy still gambles... It'd be a waste of my time if i did.
