Wait for the SAR to come back t find out why and the see if a complaint is possible.
Go and speak to CAB

Either you can get it removed or you cannot.

If you cant then you will have to put up with it for six years and it will be a major obstacle to getting any form of bank account. There are some specialist pre paid fee paying bank accounts you can use if you have to and CAB or a good google can find them for you.

If you use the search facility then I believe ive answered on it before.

You really dont give any information away about the evidence against you. If you have let your account or used it for fraudulent purposes as they believe, then the cifas marker stays on for six years.

You haven't been doing money mule things right? If you've done nothing fraudulent and they have nothing against you, then a complaint should get it away.

So you let someone else access your bank details? Probably difficult to remove the marker then, as you probably at fault, but I'd still have a try.
