Apparently this is the fourth time he's given a speech to this group as well, he's basically a regular there. It's just this will be the first address since he became president. The supposed leader of the free world, speaking at an event whose audience would put people to death for their beliefs and lifestyle. Horrid.

What does the fact that The ADL and Southern Poverty Law Center being Jewish groups have to do with anything? What it is you are trying say by specifically mentioning those groups, to the exclusion of the other many groups which also condemn this racist body that chump went to address in a speech? Shall we take it that you are an antisemitic person, or is there something else you are trying to say?

What is hate but a strong dislike of something or someone?

What is considered hate is surely subjective depending on the person and who this so called hate is directed against?

For example the Anti-defamation League and the Southern Poverty Law Centre are Jewish run groups

Suck it cucks

No matter how much you wish to suppress us you'll never succeed. There is only so much censorship you can have.

I hear the British government want to lock up anyone who views extremist material. Oh damn I bet we're all ****ed then.

Yes, it is, I think they said in the articles he had spoken there 3 previous times, but the fact that wasn't made more publicly known to now is very interesting.

However, I am not at all shocked, chump is a white supremacist, dating back to the 1970's where he practiced racial discrimination in housing up to the present.

Maybe you're forgetting every Democratic President prior to the Civil War addressing their own party.

As were Republican and Whig leaders, so yours statement has no relevance whatsoever and is a mere attempt at deflection-its nothing to do with the topic at hand.

I like talking to you too because you are fair, honestly. Talking to people with alternative views is more fun than with clones.

My proposition is this: can you find a specific example of how this 'hatred' you and the mainstream media tell us about manifests itself? I see it on Newsweek and the Independent so it must be true. Having read their articles, I could find no hard evidence of these groups Trump is addressing hating anybody. They're accused of it alright but Magna Carta is still on.

It is a very serious accusation. Where is the evidence?

Thanks, and I also like talking with you. Opposing or different views are good things when they are towards dialogue, learning and discussion.

I think the best starting place for views on The Family Research Council is to start here:

I've had a quick look and found several further unsubstantiated claims of 'hatred', planting the word here and there isn't enough. Would you care to cut a para or something for us to look for that evidence? It's quite long and the SPLC are very anti-Trump to begin with, it serves their political interests to demonise him and his followers.

Huffington Post took a lot of time and details, step by step, documenting the racism of chump and his people, so I think that is a good starting point. The quotes and statements with attribution are good references as a starting point, line by line-as well as the info on the groups website, too.

Unfortunately, I don't have the time or desire, based upon my studies, and other interests I'm pursuing to make big efforts on building a defense for this group, which I'm convinced is in fact exactly who they say it is-growing up in the United States, and see the trajectory of racist groups, such as the White Citizens Councils, which were transformed in the Heritage Foundation other benign sounding names, and the fact this group has links with Roy Moore, who unequivocally has made some over the top statements, twice been removed from the bench and has extremist views as well as the groups links you can find very easily with David Duke and white supremacist by way of their donations, etc. I'd suggest seeing of the points and assessments in what I gave are accurate. Respectfully, it sounds like you already have your mind firmly made up about chump and the others, and if that is the case, in view of his own recorded statements, in view of his own racially discriminatory record that is extraordinarily well documented, well, if all that is is not enough as evidence, there is nothing I can say or do to convince otherwise.

Huff Post, can't visit my e-mail without bumping into their daily anti-Tory or Trump headline here in the UK. The mainstream media.

So it's all about views and statements, there was a leaflet here, a bloke who said this there but nothing much really.

Earlier on, Al-Jazeera had a slot with four anti-racists on. Invited to tell of their experience of 'infiltrating the alt-right' over a year, in order to expose them for all their evilness, it went like this:

First one claimed to have lived among them and witnessed all sorts of things, al-J played a clip of his walking next to a 'Nazi' march in the street. I could have done that, it is true that there was a flag with a swastika but as far as his claims of infiltration and revelations... that was it. The second one took his entire allocation to tell the world he went in looking for hard evidence that would make the Nazis liable to prosecution for something. Then he said nothing else.

The third one had no claim to have infiltrated anything and was more like a diva promoting his site from within the race-relations industry. Nothing new to say but if he gets paid for it within the news agenda Al-J offer that is their problem. Can't remember the fourth one, speaks for itself.

It's very frustrating for people of a quizzical nature. You couldn't back up your claims either, all those tags of Nazis, white supremacy, racists, hateful people and all the rest we are fed 24/7 are just drip-fed incessantly by the Left and their media channels until people just mumble them unquestionably. That is all I can see around, it is a matter of observation and nothing else. I've gotta go to, before they find where I live.

"Distorting the real world"? Seriously? This is a debate forum, if you're not going to reply constructively then don't bother quoting me at all.

Are you for real? Describing the "Values Voter Summit" as a "hate group" as the SPLC does, is very much "distorting the real world."

This organisation doesn't buy into the whole transgender bathroom, that's all. According to the left wing loons at the SPLC that makes you a "hater."

They also describe the very brave Majid Nawaz the ex Jihadi who founded Quilliam, an "anti Muslim extremist."

People who put their lives at risk condemning Islamism are "haters," anyone who disagrees with their viewpoint is a "hate group": the SPLC is laughed at in the US.

Only other left wing loons takes them seriously.

And you guys wonder why Trump will win next time too....

I'm going based on what was was written in OP's article. Since the group is clearly aiming to restrict peoples' rights based on their sexuality, and they have also made false, disparaging claims about homosexuality, I'd say they definitely meet the definition of a hate group.

Just in case you need reminding of the definition, the FBI say a hate group is any social group whose "primary purpose is to promote animosity, hostility, and malice against persons belonging to a race, religion, disability, sexual orientation, or ethnicity/national origin which differs from that of the members of the organization."
This speech just goes to show that he caters to people with the intellectual capacity of a housefly. Christmas is the most commercialised holiday in the entire world. I am already seeing Christmas ads and decor popping up here and there and we are still in October. People at work are already discussing the annual Christmas party and I have family members who are stocking up for the day. If you go to countries like Egypt, the UAE and India there will be Christmas decor in many of the public spaces in December. Yet somehow there is a war on this holiday and no one can talk about it anymore

I'm feeling tempted to start saying Happy Holidays instead of Merry Christmas to piss off idiots like the ones in that audience. With the devastating recent hurricanes and fires that are still affecting his people, you would think that helping them to get back on their feet would be his priority. But no, it's all about terminology that we're going to use for a holiday that's in more than 2 month's time.

This perfectly legitimate organisation is exercising its right to free speech under the First Amendment to the US Constitution. Just in case you need reminding of the definition the Amendment states;

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances"

If the organisation actually is a "hate group" as per the FBI definition you so kindly quoted, why haven't they been taken to court and found guilty of "hate", under US law??

(Oh, and do you also agree, by the way, with these SJW loons, that Majid Nawaz is an "anti Muslim extremist?" )

This doesn't make it right for the POTUS to give a speech to them.

Because hate speech itself is not illegal in the US, only threats of violence would result in FBI action. The group itself has not purported any such threats, though it wouldn't surprise me if some of their members had.

You haven't given any reason why he is wrong to, except the fact a hard left ginger group thinks so.

Yes, and that is a great system, one of many in which America is superior to us. Repealing our ridiculous hate speech laws can't come soon enough for those of us who believe, as most Americans do, in free speech.

Good God, that demonstrates a remarkable (and culpable) ignorance of current affairs.

Aren't you embarrassed that an obscure American Civil Rights organisation has a view on a prominent British political activist, and you, British (I assume), have never even heard of him??
