Hi, unfortunately to become a vet of any kind you need to have studied A Levels at sixth form/college, so maybe you could go back and sit your a Levels? But even in saying that Veterinary medicine at university is a 5 year course.
If you still want to do this, then by all means go for it, but it’s going to take you a while to get to where you want to be :frown:

I presume you realise you can't become an equine vet without first becoming a vet of all domestic species? You can partly specialise as an undergraduate but only fully specialise as a qualified vet. There are many hoops to jump through before studying veterinary medicine, including lots of work experience. It is one of the hardest degrees to get a place on. If you are determined, and you will need to be, then there are access courses that may mean you don't have to do Highers and Advanced Highers but not every university accepts them. I would advise you re-post this in the veterinary forum where you are likely to get a more informed and specific response
