how hard is the CLT? Are there any sample answers online? roughly what kind of standard are they looking for in the essays, in terms of length, context, vocab?

Note that almost all of those examples are out of date, as the CLT has changed and no longer has two parts - it's a straightforward essay now, not a reading comprehension test. The only authoritative guidance is here:

I have no official authority of any sort but I took the test 2 years ago and got in so I must have some sort of clue what I'm talking about. If my memory serves correctly the questions aren't particularly complex - they aren't trying to catch you out or test what knowledge you have - it's careful and thorough interpretation of the question but most of all about showing you can write well, as the large majority of the degree is essay writing so it is an important skill to have!
This link has the marking criteria which you can see is focused on essay skills, and the sample questions
http://ba.law.cam.ac.uk/applying/cambridge_law_test/

Don't stress about it too much - it's not really something you can prepare for, just write your best and remember it's only one small part of many factors they'll consider from your application

Sorry to resurrect this old thread. thanks for the links, they're very helpful. do you have any chance a new link to the mock CLT test pack, the old one seems to have failed
