Being able to do the algebraic proofs can bag you 10 marks overall. Questions will come up like: show that the sum of two consecutive numbers is always odd (4/5 marks). Any even number can be shown as 2x (2* any no. is even). An odd number can be shown as 2x+1 (even no. + 1 = odd). Then simplify 2x+1 +2x = 4x+1. Than factorise so that 2 is outside:
2(2x) + 1
^ two outside the bracket means number is even. +1 means sum is odd.
Hence proven.
Also make the effort to remember quadratic formula, cosine rule and sine, cosine and tangent values for 0,30,45,60,90 degrees.
The first few questions will usually be ratios, probability, s=d*t etc. (Check out 2017 papers)
Also remember not to confuse units:
1m*1m is not 1m squared
It is 100cm*100cm = 10000cm
