If you was rejected...

If you was rejected after asking someone to date you, and you agreed to just stay friends. Do you mean it? Would you hate it if the other person actually just treated the rejection like it never happened and just talked to you like they did before?

First of all its were not was. Secondly I would not be annoyed if they treated it like it never happened but I would be if they couldn't use the past tense.

Why would I hate that? They agree to be friends and that's what they're doing.

Well, inside I'd want to be a million miles away from them and absolutely hate someone talking as if I'd never asked. I don't think I could be friends. But that's just insecurity and immature, in reality I'd probably move on and be friends. After the hurt from the rejection fades and I have other things going on, that is.
