Do I need 4 a levels for Cambridge?

I've noticed alot of applicants have 4 a levels, I also know recently the A level courses changed (Although I don't really understand the difference). I've only taken 3 A levels, is this an issue?

Btw I'm also doing an EPQ, not sure if thats in any way relevant

You have never needed to have 4 A-levels, it's just a bonus and may set you apart from others. The EPQ is a bonus too so it's great you're doing that.
What subject are you doing? That's really important because if you need FM then yes you might want to choose 4, in all other cases 3 is absolutely fine.

Yeh fm doesn't apply to you, that's fine.

(FM means Further Maths and it’s usually what people take if they do 4)

Nope. Not necessary, nor will it disadvantage you. Don’t worry about it.

4 A-levels aren't needed. Although many doing maths will have FM too plus 2 other subjects but this is decreasingly common.

3 A-levels are sufficient for any course at Cambridge.
