Ammonium Sulfide reaction with water

Ammonium sulfide reacts with water form Ammonia and Ammonium hydrosulfide . If I add NaOH(aq) to this solution it produces a gas X and adding HCl(aq) to a separate solution produces a gas Y . Options given are X - NH3 or H2S or Y - NH3 or H2S. Can anyone help me with the answer please?

NaOH reacts with ammonium salts displacing ammonia (a weaker, more volatile base)
Sulfides react with acids displacing hydrogen sulfide (a weaker, more volatile acid)
