Just another day in the capital. There were two more acid attacks in London yesterday (Walthamstow and Tottenham).

Many conceited Londoners will happily gloss over the uptick in criminality and continue to maintain that London's vibrant diversity is a wonderful thing. As far as they are concerned, they live in the "greatest city on earth".

Doubtless it'll get worse.

You know the poor kid was black, right?
Most knife attacks in London are gang related. It's sad people get themselves caught up in this stuff.

London right now is just a mess.

Stuff like police cuts and not being able to deal with certain crimes in fear of backlash certainly doesn't help either. Like with moped crimes, met officers aren't allowed to pursue them just in case they get knocked off. Criminals know this and exploit the red tape.
This is terrible.

I think the stress of living in London,
with massive rent,
having no future except paying off debt,
seeing mass immigration and the problems it causes,
simply causes people to give up on life and join a gang.

One of people arrested for the acid attacks and robbery yesterday was 14 year old child.

There always unfortunately been violent gangs in London in 1950's they had the teddy boys nasty little thugs who had knife fights in the streets. There always been teenage knife crime and murder in London the only different is now it reported in the local and national media.

It terrible when a young person or child is murder by a knife but it still very unusual in London and the rest of Britain.

There is absolutely no comparison to the 1950s.

How do you know people almost always look back at the past and think it was better. The fact is that some teenagers have always be involved in violent crime including knife crime. There are more people living in London now than sixty years ago so there more violent crime.

Violent crime might be lower than it was sixty years ago per person

Why isn't Cornwall full of knife crime ?

Cornwall is mainly rural and has a much lower population than London also it has a lot of retired people. In the towns which only have at most 20000 people there is a lot of violent crime including knife crime and anti-social behavior.

Glosgow has one of the highest knife crime and murder rates in Europe. Glosgow has a higher murder rate than London for all ago groups.

Yes, I know that. There are cultural values among some groups geared toward these violent outcomes.

Traditionally, the people doing the stabbing are the ones regarded as being violent, rather than those getting stabbed....

However ....the important stats in all this read as follows ...

54 % of street crimes along with 46% of knife crimes and over 50 % of gun crimes are according to the Met police committed by black men .

Even more staggering is the tendency of these gangs to use acid as their preferred method of cruelty and torture .

This green and pleasant land is no more .

RIP British culture .
So heartbreaking. :frown:
