plz help me with these two questions

I won't give you the answer because that won't help you when you need to do questions like this in the future, but I can nudge you in the right direction if that helps any.

For the 1st question, I assume that the second smaller shape is a hole in the larger on ? Otherwise it just looks like a trick question to me. Try to break down what the width would be made up of out of the measurements you've been given and then solve it.

For the 2nd question, I would figure out the scale ratio / multiplier between the two triangles and use that to figure out the height of the other triangle you've been given. From there it should be obvious how to work out the height of the triangle you want.

I hope I've explained things in a way that's understandable and useful to you!

Hope this helps ya!

As the shapes are similar the ratio of the lengths are always the same, just make sure u use the corresponding sides in each shape.
