Do you believe in Labour's free tuition?

I don't think it works both socially or financially, it would be more effective if we only lowered to £4000 or something affordable but not as a deterrent. Thoughts?

the only way that can happen is if the government go massively into debt so. Yes they could do it but it wouldn't be a good idea

yeah that's true but we haven't really improved ever since the tuition fee was raised so
Original post by damn daniel yeah
Define improved

don't really need to tbh, I'm just saying the economy wasn't exactly faltering when tuition was 3000
Yes I do believe in it, and rich ppl/businesses should pay for it.

Let me guess, you're not rich ..
i don't think it should be free and i don't believe that rich ppl and businesses should have to pay for it as that can lead to monopolies of 'owning' universities

Can't believe I got a PRSOM on that!

Well back in 2010 when it was agreed it would be raised the governments bank balance was not good. They needed to find money from somewhere in order to stimulate the economy.

do you yourself find the tuition too high

prsom?
Original post by damn daniel yeah
Good luck getting them to pay for it there is always another way to tax dodge for them

People who hide their taxes should be punished! Why is there one rule for the rich and another for the rest?
Original post by damn daniel yeah
Yes it is high but it is a conscious decision one makes when they choose university

or make them more conscious of unis in other countries or not going to uni at all

Please Rate Some Other Member.... I tried to give it a thumbs-up, but apparently I've been too positive about RogerOxon (whoever he is - sounds very dodgy to me!) posts in recent times.

We are all governed buy the same rules they just decide to jump out of them by moving there money to other country's. There isnt alot the government can do about that

Government should focus their efforts on cutting loopholes instead of cutting benefits and hurting the most vulnerable in our society.
Original post by damn daniel yeah
Exactly people need to choose if they want to take the risk of being in debt of going to unis or taking a different opportunity such as an apprenticeship

taking that denmark, norway, sweden, austria, switzerland have very low tuitions and are both economically stable and have a good cohort of intelligent people, shouldn't we follow them?
It should be free . I mean over £27,000 you have to pay back like wtf. For what? A Bunch of powerpoints
Original post by damn daniel yeah
yeah but realistically nothing is free

If college and hs is free then so should uni tbh. But that would never happen in the UK. They should reduce it to £3000.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully it won't mess you up too badly.

Bad troll is bad.

Only the plebs demand free tuition because they're poor.

Besides, I doubt Socialist Corbyn would be able to follow through on his promises.

Keep dreaming, lefties.
