Say you had f(x-2) and you wanted to notate this in a vector. how would you do this.

Well what's the transformation...?

move f(x) two units right

So what do you think the translation vector for this transformation is?

my teacher confused it today. orginally i would have said 2 over 0

That's right.

so if you had f(x) and then f(x-2) and you were asked to notate this in vector form would it be 2 over 0? also if you had the equation of the line would you just plug in x-2 wherever x is present in the eqation.
