I don't know why this has become a question about ethics. But following on, it is not wrong/ degrading to be a prostitute or an escort. Sex is a product which is sold to us everyday, for example in ads do they talk about how comfortable a particular lingerie is, no, instead they advertise how sexually appealing it is. Your sex is yours to sell, so long as it is not harming both partners ( in which more often than not it is actually pleasurable), and it is consensual, people should not have the right to judge what is morally correct or not. Also, many of the people talking about how bad and pathetic it is have never met or seen a prostitute/escort, it is not Disneyland where people simply hop on for the ride, it is hard work and in many cases they do not just do it for themselves to earn extra cash they do it for their loved ones, to provide a decent income, Nor is there a pimp with a long fur coat smoking a pipe, it is often women choosing their clients and counting their money. Although it is illegal. we should also then wonder if we should ban/boycott legal products which are made from the breaking backs of child workers (NIKE and Primark...). The reason it's illegal is not because of morals it's because of how easy it can lead to sex trafficking, so please stop imposing your 'superior' moral compass on others.
People need to get off their high horse and actually take a step into reality.

With respect I feel this is a very reductionist view on sex that has been echoed throughout this thread. If probably by people who would like to use an escort so are trying to make themselves feel better about it.

Regularly engaging in sex for money negatively impacts your relationships and also places you at higher risk for mental health issues.

Also, the reality is you *dont* know the grounds upon which these girls have ended up doing the work they are doing. Don’t think that just because she is an “escort” she isn’t doing it to escape some hardship in her life. So you may be with someone who, as you suggest, chooses to make their money that way. But there is a risk you will be paying to be with a women who is emotionally (and possibly physically) damaged from her life circumstances. You may fantasise and hope that they would be honest with you but let’s be serious here.

Anyone who could take this risk, and risk exploiting the latter in such a way *is* scum, *is* morally inferior, and *does* deserve to be told it in such a harsh manner as this.

I will leave it there now, I have spent a long day arguing points on this thread and I feel that I have made myself abundantly clear and justified my views enough. I won’t continue to reply for the sake of fuelling the likes of Napps ad hominem arguments.
