Applying to UCAS

I was just wondering if i can apply to Sussex University and Brighton University because if i apply to Sussex Uni for primary education BA it says its in Falmer Campus which is in Brighton University. So i am just confused about applying to both. If that even makes sense?

"The University of Sussex is located at Falmer on the outskirts of Brighton"

The university of Brighton is a different awarding body. You can apply to both universities, though it looks like they have a shared campus here.
