I N T R O D U C T I O N Hi everyone! I know I’m rather late to GYG as I just made an account on TSR today (yikes) but I am in dire need of motivation so here we go. I’m Celestine, a year 10 student and perhaps the least cohesive and concise writer you will ever meet. I struggle to phrase my sentences in a clear manner, so please bear with me.
I would consider myself an ambitious yet disorganized person. I’ll also warn you that I never have my act together and will try to minimize that between now and GCSE exams - no promises though. xx
M Y G R A D E SI’ve just gotten the grades I’m currently working at, and although I don’t consider them amazing, I am quite happy with my predicted grades.

Additional Maths - 9, predicted 9
English Lit - 7, predicted 9
English Lang - 8, predicted 8/9
History - A*, predicted A*

M Y K S 3 G R A D E SI ended year 9 on these grades -
(at least, the ones relevant to my current choices)
Mathematics - 8a
English - 8b
History - 8a
Design Technology - 7b
Sciences - 8a/8b
Indonesian - 8a
M Y G O A L S Obviously, I’m aiming for my predicted grades - I’d love to get all 9s, but that sounds pretty unrealistic so I’m hoping for a mix of 8s and 9s. I also am looking forward to improving my work ethic and doing a sufficient amount of revision.
In addition to this, I’m doing college-level classes on the sciences (particularly on organic chemistry, but I’ve also got some gen chem, biochem, physics, biology, and psychology in) and I hope to make enough time to revise for these on top of my GCSE workload. I’m also going to train to make it in the national team for olympiads in biology, chemistry, and maths and will participate in multiple maths/sciences competitions this year.
Finally, I’m going to try and be more active in extracurricular activities. I’m in MUN, Round Square, and the debate club, all of which I will be attending conferences in - I’m also very passionate about music and will be doing my piano and theory exams this March.
Let the torture begin. x
