I know they happen at the same time, but does this necessarily mean that it is a part of telophase and therefore mitosis?

Yeah like the other person said, kinda a part of telophase
hope the above guy and I aren't confusing you

best way is to search it up yourself and read as many different sources as possible

though from months of studying this I know 110% that mitosis is division of nucleus and cytokenisis is division of cell

these 2 stages can overlap ie occur at same time - like I said before, but they are definitely different stages


also BeatrixLS, you're confusing him- they are different stages and not 'part of' each other
