Mature student maintenance loan

Im 25 and will be 26 when i start university. Will I be asked to provide a household income for my family or will they take me as an individual? I am wanting to apply for a maintenance loan and dont know the rules.

If you’re over 25 at the start of your course then you will be classed as independent.

That means your household income will be calculated based on:
- your unearned income (trust funds, interest on investments etc not and earnings from jobs)
- the income of any children you have
- the income of your partner if you have one
