so we got our essays back from like a month ago...i got 14/20 which is 70% so like a grade 7? according to my teacher. not too bothered as i can not write essays, but still, im learning!

talked about LGBTQ+, but was really annoyed bc they literally don't say anything, like why can't we learn about homosexual health as well as heterosexual health?? also like why give awkward teachers who dont wanna talk about it to teach us the lesson like?? surely someone else can come in?

What do you mean? You mean in terms of sexual health? I assume they'd discuss that in an LGBTQ+ lesson but I wouldn't think there's too much stuff to cover that differs from heterosexual health really

i personally didn't ask a question, but a girl in my class had one (which i totally agree to) as in the fact that we have 'sex ed' for heterosexual relationships between a man and woman, but why aren't we taught about other relationships as well?

kinda panicking because we have this intro to y10 assembly afterschool and i have to play the piano for someone singing and as people walk into the hall and i havent touched my piano in months aghhhhhhhh

Haven't checked your blog out in a few days, it's nice to see you're doing well :smile:
I totally agree with your point about going over LGBTQ+ sexual health! Gay men are statistically at a larger risk for STDs such as HIV, so it's really important that this information is given to young people who may be exploring their orientation.
On another note, I'm loving your format! A good format always makes things more fun to write imo :biggrin:

thanks! i'm playing a couple pieces for people to walk into, and i legit just finished learning the music for 'reflection' from Mulan bc my friends singing and the backing track didn't work in rehearsal
