A labour MP has described a black working class Tory candidate as a token ghetto boy.

The MP in question is perhaps unsurprisingly white and privileged.

There is a toxic level of cynicism on. Politics at the moment which this is indicative of- whilst it is indeed perfectly feasible that indeed he was used as a token ethnicity by the Cameron government it is also entirely feasible that labour are only pro immigration in a desire for their votes unless of course they happen to be the ‘wrong kind of minority’ ...

She also posted the conservative symbol with a black man hanging from it.

To be fair I don’t think we should read into that much- it was just a stick man figure...


Douglas Murray made a good point in the spectator about how no one in the Conservative party have claimed that people were criticising Priti Patel because they were racist- which is what usually happens when ever somebody points out Abbot is talking *******s about something.

Left wing racism of the type espoused by the hard left is more insidious than ‘traditional’ bigotry/ as Maajid Nawaaz calls it- it’s the soft bigotry of low expectations where you often get s white middle class person telling a minority they’re not a ‘real’ minority or they’te brainwashed
(Just occurred to me that people who shout brainwashed are usually the most ‘brainwashed’ )
