Why do girls still pretend they don't masturbate?

I mean maybe some don't but I feel like the majority are lying.
Is there anyone here that genuinely doesn't? If so, how come?

I don't even mean when guys ask girls btw.
I'm talking mostly when girls say to other girls that they don't.
Why should we even ask them? Who cares if they 'flick the bean' or not?

I'm not asking girls who masturbate to come on here and say it. I was asking the girls who don't to state their reasons (genuinely curious). As girls don't seem to have a problem saying they don't masturbate so I figured people may be willing to share why. I don't see why girls would lie on here because it's kind of anonymous. It's in real life with friends when they all claim they don't.
Feel like there's a lot of stigma around female masturbation, probably because in general, a female talking openly about her sexuality and sexual urges is viewed as her being a "slut" by society.

I guess it depends how comfortable you feel with your girl friends to talk about something that is actually quite a private thing.

Me and my friends are quite open with each other about these things, because none of us see it as something to be ashamed of.

Have a good day!

The reason why I ask is because guys are so open about masturbation and sex. Girls are also quite open about sex when talking to their close friends but so many deny that they masturbate. Contributing to the idea that it's taboo.
i genuinely don't and i think in genral boys masturbate more cos its easier/simpler for them to do it....

Is there a chance that it is true that the majority of girls don't?
I doubt that's a very modern one, relatively speaking

How many guys do you know that are past the age of 13 and actually discuss how their latest masturbation session was?

Also, why is it anyone's business? I'm a girl and rarely talk to my friends about their sex lifes and its not because it's taboo, it's because unless it's a some scandalous affair, I really don't care that much. I care even less about what they are home alone and beneath the sheets and don't need any updates either.

it is pretty hilarious to think that men talk about jacking off 24/7, everyone would see it as pretty strange if you started talking about what you did, the most people get is I like X or Y and yeah I jack off

Because it's private. They don't want you to have this information about them. It's crossing the boundaries of your relationship.
Julie- "Hey Alis, how are you?"

Alis- "I'm fine Julie, I just finished my daily exercise and study, what about you?"

Julie- "Oh nothing much, I just finished masturbating.."

Alis- "....."

Julie- "What?"

Alis- "What kind of conversation starter is that?"

Julie- "Whats wrong with admitting you masturbate? Do you need any tips?"

Alis- "Ohh, is that the phone? I am just going to go... get that... see you."

That is why women do not openly talk about masturbating. (One of the reasons for some)
I think you have misunderstood me. That part of the question wasn't me asking girls to explain why they won't admit it. I was asking girls to explain why they don't masturbate. Because I'd like someone's honest answer. Not just one of my friends talking bs and saying stuff like 'I dunno never felt the urge'
Neither gender really talk about it? I don’t know anyone that would openly admit they had **** last night, kinda weird you’re bothered about someone allegedly lying about it anyway
No I'm actually a girl. I have a lot of male friends and they're all very open not just with each other but with me and my female friends as well about their porn/masturbation habits. Not in a creepy way btw. I also have a lot of female friends in multiple groups and in all my 22 years, only one girl has said they have a vibrator, and another has said they've tried it when bored. I was speaking to one of my male friends about it and he said he finds most girls eventually admit to it and that he thought if a girl denied it he'd find it weird and think of them as sexually inexperienced.

I genuinely dont, weirdly enough I spoke about this with one of my best friends. Two of my girl friends do masturbate, they admitted when I asked but the reason I don't is because I've been like shadowed by my parents a lot, like they've kept me hidden from that kind of life. I'm not allowed out etc. Hence why I didn't know how to do it until like a few days back lol. I would do it if I knew how properly, it's kind of nerve-wracking in a way for somebody as sheltered from life as me.

That's fair enough, but a shame about your parents. I'm not going to try and convince you but I will say that it's something that takes a bit of practice to find what works for you, so don't give up lol.

I don't.

Mainly because I don't have any interest in it. My sex drive is really low to non-existent.

I've been blunt for many years that I do (female here btw), and 90% of the time people seem really shocked how blunt I am, but I'm just very frank about that kind of thing, and it's kinda funny to see people's reactions 😂
