Balon d'Or has always been nonsense tbh, there's absolutely no consistency to it.

I mean look at the other rankings, De Gea 20th and Hazard 19th? ffs.

Ever since the split between FIFA best player and the Ballon d'Or again, the Ballon d'Or ceremony has been very quiet and lowkey. Last year there wasn't even a ceremony, they just presented it to Ronaldo.

I get it. I'm a Utd fan and to this day I absolutely love Ronaldo but surely you believe your own eyes? Messi is the greatest, without equal. The stats say so but you need only see Messi play to know he is the GOAT.
On a seperate note, I reckon had Ronaldo de Lima not suffered so many injuries, we'd be talking about him and Messi now as the two greatest of all time.
