Any way to learn and take A-levels exam online?

First of all, am I even supposed to be here? I live in Sweden

To summarise my life quickly. Before going to high school(swedish system) my family and I moved to a different country and I had to redo middle school with a home teacher(because now i was learning everything in English, which obviously was new to me). After that I did IGCSE O-Level and got pretty decent grades(7 subjects).

But then I moved AGAIN and this time back to Sweden without having completed A-levels, which they don't teach here. And Sweden universities won't accept you unless you've done A-levels and the system won't even validate your grades if you've only done O-levels.

Am now sitting here 20 years old and want to continue my education. So I thought, why not study online!? It sounded like a great idea(well except for thr costs), but is that really possible from Sweden? I mean, how will I do the exams? Through online? I only need to subjects of A-level standard to meet the qualification universities need here, so I'm thinking of doing maybe math and computer science, I haven't really decided though.

So can I ask for assistants here? Or is this a UK only forum or does anyone who studies IGCSE have the right to be here?

I appreciate any answers given negative or positive. Thanks in advance.

Hello your obvious options are to do the international versions of A level or the UK version and flu to the UK to sit them.

International versions are either Cambridge or Edexcel.

You can either go to a school/ college - which may be expensive or not cater for anyone over 18 or teach yourself.

Math may be easier than CS.

Cambridge

Test centres. There are English school across Sweden (bit Cities). They might not teach you but yu might be able to sit the exam there.

For studying then if there isnt a specific IGCE text book you will have to use the syllabus/ spec and pick up some A level books. You can ask them which board s the closest.

Edexcel Pearson.

Far less popular. only Malmo an if you fancy a trip then Copenhagen.

They dont do computer science.

Considering the above I'd take Cambridge.

UK unis require 3 A levels taken over 2 years. No idea if the same in Sweden.

Thats enough to get you started. Its not impossible at all.

Thanka for the reply.

You seen rather knowledgeable about this. I might be asking a bit too much, but do you have any idea in which school/city I can sit the exam? I'm currently looking around and sending them emails, but it will take a bit of time until they reply. And of course, I intended to do Cambridge.

You said maths would be easier than CS. I think so too. The O-level maths was so easy that I reached a point of where I never needed to study for an exam(no bragging intended). I just want a headstart in university(software engineering).

I can probably buy all the books I need through online hopefully.

Thanks again.
