Computer Science GCSE

What is Computer Science GCSE
(edited 6 years ago)
I am in Year 11 and currently studying for Computer Science GCSE.

It consists of three parts:
NEA (non exam assessment) - 20%
Exam Paper 1 - 40%
Exam Paper 2 - 40%

I find it really fun and I want to take it for A Level. The stuff that's in the exam doesn't seem that tough, it is more the specific language that you need to remember. The NEA is really fun (and pretty easy) although it may be cancelled this year due to some teachers and students leaking it online.

Take it if you have an interest in computers, it offers you a wide variety of future options as well.

P.S. It is A LOT different to ICT, nobody really cares for ICT anymore, computer science is respected.
Its either good or terrible, depending on your teacher
