Would Communism Work In a developed Western country like the UK?

I think everyone can agree capitalism has massively increased living standards in the UK but still 20% people in the UK live in poverty including 8 million working-age adults, 4 million children and 1.9 million pensioners. Some people will claim capitalism has been a massive success, others will argue that it's a failure but is it time to implement communism? A similar system to what Jeremy Corbyn is offering like nationalisation of all schools all banks all essential corporations and no more private health care, monetary banks and fiscal flow owned by the government of course democracy and the right to press and speech all apply something along those lines. Or maybe a well regulated capitalist system. I'm not an expert in economic systems but what's all your opinions?

Uhm, no they don't. And no, it obviously wouldn't work. Capitalism is like democracy. **** except for all the other options, which are even worse.
Scandinavian countries are not Communist or Socialist either.

though capitalism sucks and though I'm not an advocate for it , communism is definitely not the answer. true communism isn't viable and probably won't ever exist as even though its nice in concept in reality it'd probably lead to Stalin 2.0

communism would probably work better in the UK than a developing country, because we have actual rule of law
but it would still be a more inefficient system than the current one.

Why bother going to Uni to study STEM and work your way up to senior management if your post tax salary is only going to be 10% more than someone on minimum wage

Your argument for capitalism is democracy is completely void, democracy was founded in Greece and capitalism didn't exist then. My example is similar to that of the Scandinavian system which has been pretty successful other than mass immigration.

Communism didn't work in countries that implemented it. It also doesn't work in countries that are still supposedly communist. The concept is great but there is no such thing as equality and actually you don't want equality. You want equity.

Could Communism work? Well, that depends on what you mean by communism for a start.

The State Capitalism of the Soviet Union was terrible and just traded one oppressor for another. However, when we look at experiments in Anarcho-communisy say in revolutionary Spain, the free states of Ukraine, the Paris commune the case becomes more compelling.

That is of course until in all 3 cases people with lots of guns showed up and started killing everyone which really is a threat that all societies must deal with.
